Ambulance 1784 was originally placed in service in 1996 as Ambulance 1792 with Vincentown Emergency Squad (Station 179).
Upon closure of Station 179, Ambulance 1792 was acquired by Southampton Township and reassigned to Hampton Lakes Emergency Squad as Ambulance 1784.

HLES broke our green and gold color theme, choosing to have Ambulance 1784 remain red and white, paying homage to Vincentown Emergency Squad.

Ambulance 1784 served faithfully with HLES until 2018 when it was retired with approximately 105,000 miles on the truck.

Ambulance 1784 will serve as the 3rd ambulance in the fleet while 1783 and 1781 get remounted over the course of the next five years.
1784 also improves the fleet's abilities by being a 4x4 capable truck.
1784 comes with increased safety systems for crew and patients.
1784 equipped by a Stryker Powerload system.
